The Patch, as it is affectionately known, is the home of Littlewood Berry Farm and is the beating heart of Littlewood Farm. Set amongst the rows of our delicious strawberries, the patch is nestled in the heart of the Coal Valley, and during the open season is a hive of activity.

We are predominantly a Pick-your-Own berry farm, but you’ll also find all the other amazing products we make for sale in the Hut. From our strawberry ice cream and sorbet made by the Tasmanian ice cream institution, Valhalla, our strawberry jam that are made by the team at Tasmanian Kitchen Pantry, to our famous Jam Gin and Strawberry Liqueur, distilled by the incredible team at Hellfire Bluff. There is something for all tastes and ages and locally made.

The Patch is also home to the Little Bean Coffee Van, and when in season, we sell locally grown fresh produce which is grown on the farm.

The patch is the perfect place to head for an afternoon on the lawn, bring a picnic, and let the kids run free. Once they’ve had their fill of berries, they can pluck up the courage to say hello to our pet sheep and Highland cows, Jimmy and Moo.
